Electricity

Following up on part of my last post about relationships. In our current society, it is common for people to have many different relationships. When we meet that special person we enjoy getting to know them, spend time with them, meeting family & friends, & growing together. There are many different ways that these relationships develop & grow. It can start as a good friendship that develops into more, or as a physical attraction that leads to deeper feelings, or on rare occasions there is a spark...not just a click, but a real spark which is even better than a click.

The type that I find most intriguing is the rare kind where there is a spark. What I mean by that is when you meet someone & you feel completely comfortable with them almost like you have known them for a long time. Your thoughts & feelings towards one another & towards others gel. When you think of them you instantly smile & feel a rush of energy like the first time you stuck a paperclip in the electrical outlet. Then, you start to open your heart to the possibility of beginning to Love your partner. So, what does Love mean then?

Well Love can mean many things like respect, trust, & compassion for your partner & their life outside of the relationship. Love can also come in different degrees. From a new Love where you just want to be a part of that person's life...all the way to the Love where you want to commit to your partner for the rest of your life. All of this happening from a spark, I feel, is a very rare & beautiful thing! In your life, I pray that you get to experience this spark & that you enjoy every second of it whether it turns into a long term relationship or if things are right even marriage.

God Bless You!
Thomas
